As peoples lands became crowded and as others became disenfranchised with home life and they sot adventure, they would make ship voyages to Iceland and beyond. Some were criminals and ran off the land, some were adventurers, some were hoping to make their fortunes, and some were running away from bad luck. What would you have brought with you to start a new life? What would you bring to go to sea with? Pick one topic or item. (Example might be: I would take a sea chest. Sea chests you sat on them for when you were rowing, you could store you clothes in them and they were made in a way to endure the trip at sea.) Please provide documentation (one - two pages is enough).
