SeneschalSeneschal: Hleafdige Thora Golvik / Christine Foulger

The Seneschal is analogous to the president of our group and presides over the Shire’s monthly council meeting where the modern business side of the Shire is run. All members are encouraged to attend council to keep in tune with what is going on in the Shire.

ChroniclerChronicler: Lady Danika / Tamara Young

The Chronicler is one of the Seneschal’s deputies and is responsible for taking minutes at council and producing Shire newsletters and other publication.

web_ministerWebminister: Lord Tomas de Courcy / Noah Arney

This deputy of the Seneschal is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the Shire’s e-presence, (web page, forums etc)

goldkeyGold Key: Open

The Office of Gold Key maintains a collection of clothing on hand to loan to guests and new members. New members are encouraged to make or acquire their own garb as soon as possible rather than borrowing from Gold Key indefinitely. The Gold Key officer is in charge of maintaining this collection; making sure it gets to and from events where it will be needed

chatelaineChatelaine: Viscountess Safiye Konstantiniyye / Lisa Kelly

The Chatelaine provides assistance to new people, helping them to find the people, times & places where they can interact with others who share similar interests.

PiedPiperPied Piper: Senhora Agdta Xalbadora Da Coruña / Kate-Nicola Lily Mounce

Pied Pipers within the SCA provide a venue where children may safely play with their parents, using mediaeval toys, playing mediaeval games and doing crafts.  The Pied Piper is not a babysitting service, and children must be attended by a parent at all times.

ExchequerExchequer: Lord Sebastian de Sandoval / Stuart Raven

The Exchequer is analogous to the treasurer of our group. The Exchequer is responsible for maintaining the financial records of the Barony and for compiling both quarterly and yearly financial reports and submitting them to the Principality.

Chamberlain: Open

The chamberlain is an officer reporting to the Exchequer, and who takes care of the equipment and supplies owned by the shire and maintains an inventory of these items.

Largesse Deputy: The Honorable Lady Elspeth Selwode / Mellissa Kimberley

The largesse Deputy is an officer reporting to the Exchequer, and who takes care of any largesse gifts to be passed on to royalty from the shire.

marshalMaster of Stables: Viscount Savaric de Porte des Lions / Dave Kelly

The Master of Stables, (MoS), is responsible for all aspects of martial pursuits in the Shire. The MoS oversees such things as fighter authorizations and marshaling in the Shire and runs the Shire’s weekly practice.

The Minister of Rapier is a deputy of the Master of Stables, as such they are responsible for helping promote rapier play in the Shire of Lionsdale. This includes arranging practices and helping new people get equipped with proper rapier gear.

The Minister of Archery is a deputy of the Master of Stables, as such they are responsible for helping promote archery in the Shire of Lionsdale. This includes arranging practices and helping new people learn how to use their gear.

listsMinister of Lists: Open

The Minister of Lists is a deputy of the Master of Stables and coordinates all tournaments held within the Shire. In conjunction with the Master of Stables and the Herald they work to ensure that tournaments run smoothly.

arts_and_sciencesMinister of Arts and Sciences: The Honorable Lady Sofia Marika von Trifels / Brigitte Felgenhauer

The minister of Arts and Sciences helps promote the Arts and the Sciences in the Shire. The arts and sciences include, but are not limited to: weaving, costuming, music, scribal endeavors, dance brewing, cooking and so on.

Dance Minister: Lady Azzah Lazanice / Alanna Stewart

The Dance Minister is responsible for promoting and teaching dance within the Shire. A wide variety of dances are taught at weekly practices and the Minster of Dance maintains both music and choreography for these.

Bardic Minister: Hlaford Wulfstan Hrafnsson / Rick Kimberley

The Bardic Minister is responsible for promoting and organizing bardic activities within the Shire.

scribeLionsdale Scribe: The Honorable Lady Elspeth Selwode / Mellissa Kimberley

The Lionsdale Scribe’s responsibilities are to help foster the scribal arts in the Shire. To communicate with the current reigns to facilitated our local scribes to obtain charters to paint as well as regular scroll assignments. And finally to help facilitate our local champions scrolls to completion.

HeraldHerald: Hlaford Wulfstan Hrafnsson / Rick Kimberley

The herald’s office is responsible for a number of aspects in our society including: creation and submission of heraldic devices, researching names, making public announcements, announcing business at court and heralding fighters upon the field.
